Whole Wheat Raisin Nut Cinnamon

This is a good Whole Wheat recipe for Bread Machines. Add ingredients in order given…

1 1/2 tsp. Yeast
2 C. Whole Wheat Flour
2 C. White Bread Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbs. Sugar
1 Tbs. Brown Sugar
2 Tbs. Dry Milk
2 Tbs. Butter
1 1/4 C. plus 2 Tbs. warm water

Five minutes before the end of the second kneading, add the following:

1/2 C. Raisins
1/2 C. chopped Walnuts

World's Easiest Bread Recipe

Mix in a small bowl
2c. white flour
3c. whole wheat
In a bigger bowl mix:

2 1/2 c. wrist-temp. water
1 tbsp. sugar, honey, molasses, etc...
1 generous tbsp. active dry yeast (use wire wisk to blend the yeast quicker)

When yeast has proofed, mix in about 4c. of the flour, start kneading. Add the rest of the flour a bit at a time until the dough is smooth and elastic -- it should take about 5-8 minutes. Generously oil a bowl, put in dough, flip dough over, spread oil evenly over surface. Cover and rise till doubled -- it goes faster over a bowl or pan of warm water.

Punch down, shape, let rise again in pans. Lightly oil tops again if it needs it. Bake at 350 till done.

Hawaiian Bread

This is for a 1 1/2 lb loaf

Mash 1 overripe banana in a 1 cup measuring cup. Finish filling with crushed
pineapple.

* 1 egg
* 1/4 cup milk
* 4 tbsp margarine
* 1 tsp coconut extract
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/3 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup potato flakes
* 3 cups bread flour
* 1 1/2 tsp quick yeast

Bake in bread machine on light.

Focaccia Bread

Adapted from various sources. For a bread machine.




* 1 1/2 cups water
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 3 Tablespoons olive oil
* 1 large egg, lightly beaten (optional)
* 4 cups whilte flour
* 3 Tablespoons sugar
* 2 Tablespoons instant skim milk powder
* 2 teaspoons yeast

Put ingredients in machine in order above. Set to "dough"
setting. When it is ready, cut the dough in half, spread into
circles on baking sheets or pizza pans. Brush lightly with olive
oil. Sprinkle on: garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flakes,
basil, rosemary, feta or parmesan cheese (or both!) and a little
coarse salt. Bake in an oven preheated to 450 F. for 10 - 12
minutes. Enjoy with soup, cheese or Italian style with balsamic
vinegar and olive oil (equal parts) swirled in a saucer.

This is a light bread which is great for sandwiches.

1 cup Water
2 1/4 cups White bread flour
3/4 cup Rye flour
2 1/2 Tbsp. Sugar
1 1/4 tsp Salt
1 1/4 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tbsp. Cornmeal
1/2 Tbsp. Caraway Seeds
2 tsp. Yeast (fast rising)
or
3 tsp. Yeast (active dry)

Just follow the recipe, you will find it easy.
This recipe can be made with the regular, rapid or delayed time bake cycle.
This recipe is for a large 2lb loaf.
